Distribution Specialist
Shift : 3rd shift: Sun-Thurs 10:45PM-6:45AM

**Mandatory Saturdays when department schedules**

A local distribution center is seeking a  mini load operator. This hands-on, physically demanding role is perfect for someone who values consistency, accuracy, and teamwork. You’ll accurately pick specified part numbers and quantities from designated storage locations and prepare them for packing and shipment, all while actively navigating around moving material handling equipment and conveyor systems.

Responsibilities:
-Pick and stage orders - select part numbers and volumes based on customer orders from mini load locations and place items in containers with  protective materials to avoid damage in transit
-Maintain orderliness - keep your work area clean and safe by putting away unused tools/materials and disposing of scrap or waste properly
-Support warehouse flow - walk and work around conveyor systems and material handling equipment regularly throughout your shift
-Lift, move, repeat - regularly lift items from floor to chest level and perform frequent bending, squatting, pulling, and pushing motions throughout the day

Requirements:
-Prior experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment preferred
-Ability to follow detailed instructions and safely use hand tools and warehouse equipment
-General computer knowledge to follow order instructions and document inventory
-Must be physically able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
-Must be able to wear a full body harness and work at heights up to 30 feet when needed
-Steel toe shoes required
-Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
-History of great work attendance and reliability

Additional details:
-Standing required - you'll be on your feet for your entire shift except for breaks
-Manual work - 100% of your time will involve hands-on tasks in a fast-paced setting
-Lifting requirements - frequently lift and move up to 40 lbs.; very frequent lifting of 11-40 lbs.; frequent pushing and pulling
-Movement - bending, stooping, reaching in/out of rack locations, and walking short distances required throughout the day
