Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Operate radiology equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images. Follow established protocols for radiation safety and patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Assist with the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Works to maintain efficiency in the Department with particular attention to technique and patient procedures to avoid unnecessary exposure and wastage of films. Assists with Quality Control as necessary or as indicated by the Radiology Director. Works to maintain records. Requirements On Call Ability to take call. Rotating nights and weeks. Educational/Experience Requirements: Successful completion of an approved Radiology program. ARRT or Registry eligible. Competence in components of radiography practice as appropriate.
