Starting hourly rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.75 USD per hour Human Resources Expert Human Resources Expert role supports Target teams and leaders in building a sales force with a focus on guest‑centric mission and inclusive talent strategies. Responsibilities Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Greet: 10ft – be friendly, smile, make eye contact, or wave 4ft – greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm, helpful interaction Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience Work with HR leader to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business; this includes understanding guests’ needs and ensuring the right mix of experience and skills to deliver on the in‑store and digital shopping experiences Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates Support team member and leader training needs and be an advocate for continuous learning Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices Be approachable and available by listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leaders to take action as needed Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption Support leader in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible All other duties based on business needs Qualifications Enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members Thrives in a fast‑moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success Open to working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays) Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed Effective communication skills Works both independently and with a team Resolves guest questions quickly on the spot Attention to detail and follows multi‑step processes Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes Accurately handles cash register operations as needed Frequently lifts or moves merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without additional assistance Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive‑Up, carry‑out, etc. Flexible work schedule and willingness to work during nights, weekends and holidays; takes required meal and rest breaks EEO/ADA Statement Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) – In compliance with state and federal laws, Target will make reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
