JEWELS Therapy Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing pediatric therapy team in Pikesville, Maryland. We are dedicated to helping children build independence, improve daily living skills, and reach important developmental milestones through high-quality, individualized care.

As part of our multidisciplinary clinic, you'll work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists and other pediatric specialists in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth.

What You'll Do

• Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions focused on:
  • Fine motor development
  • Sensory processing
  • Self-care and daily living skills
  • Functional independence
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary therapy teams to support coordinated patient care
• Educate families and caregivers on home strategies and therapeutic carryover
• Assist with modifying treatment activities based on patient needs and progress
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for children and families

QualificationsRequired

• Reliable commute to Pikesville, MD 21208 or willingness to relocate
• Passion for working with children and families
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Previous pediatric therapy experience
• Experience working with developmental delays, sensory integration, or autism spectrum disorders
