Pediatric Clinical Director - Home Nursing

Classic City Home Care is a Georgia pediatric home nursing agency purpose‑built for medically complex children - trach, vent, G‑tube, seizure, SMA, spina bifida. We are building the clinical foundation of this program and looking for the right person to lead it. Compensation: $6,000–$7,000/month · 15–20 hrs/week to start · Equity stake · Full‑time path at $100k+ as census grows What this role actually is This is not a staff position. You are the clinical authority of a program being built from the ground up for Georgia's most medically fragile children through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). Pre‑revenue, you focus on clinical infrastructure – adapting our clinical framework to GAPP requirements, building PA documentation templates, and screening and competency‑validating our first cohort of pediatric nurses. Post‑first patient, you lead clinical operations, supervise LPN and PSS staff, conduct regulatory supervisory visits, and serve as the clinical point of contact for families, physicians, and care teams. Your first 60 days Review and adapt our clinical policy and procedure framework to GAPP and DCH 111‑8‑65 standards Build prior authorization documentation templates and establish our GAPP PA submission process Screen and competency‑validate the first cohort of pediatric RN, LPN, and PSS candidates Establish the supervisory visit protocol and care plan structure for trach, vent, and G‑tube cases Qualifications Required Active, unrestricted Georgia RN license (NP, APRN, or CNS also welcome) Pediatric, PICU, or NICU experience with direct trach, vent, or G‑tube management Strong independent clinical judgment – comfortable making decisions without hospital infrastructure behind you CPR/BLS current Strongly preferred Pediatric home health, PDN, or GAPP/Medicaid waiver experience Supervisory or charge experience – preceptor, charge nurse, or clinical lead Familiarity with DCH licensing standards or GAPP prior authorization process The right person Builder, not maintainer – has created or adapted systems, not just followed them Clinically decisive – strong independent judgment in high‑acuity environments Ownership mindset – genuinely interested in equity and long‑term growth, not just a paycheck Character – we serve children.
