Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Server to join our pizza restaurant team. You will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest enjoys great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Your goal is to provide fast, cheerful, and accurate service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Communication
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Share menu knowledge by explaining pizza specials, crust options, toppings, and drink pairings.
- Take orders accurately , noting any special dietary requests, food allergies, or custom pizza half-and-half instructions.
- Check in on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and offer refills.
Food & Order Coordination
- Run food and drinks from the kitchen to the tables quickly so pizzas stay hot.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding meal pacing or special requests.
- Upsell beverages, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Payment & Maintenance
- Process payments accurately using the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit cards.
- Clear and sanitize tables quickly between parties so new guests can be seated.
- Complete daily side work , such as restocking napkins, rolling silverware, or cleaning drink stations.
