Job Summary:
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician position available in Baker City, Oregon. This role involves working a 10-hour shift from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position necessitates trauma, neuro, and orthopedic experience, along with certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). The candidate must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Job Details:

• Location: Baker City, Oregon
• Position: Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Shift Hours: 10 hours daily, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Schedule: Two to three 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Coverage on holidays if they fall on weekdays. One scheduled call shift per week.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to stay up to 2 hours past normal shift hours, with extended hours paid as on-call time. The expectation is that candidates can remain until 7:15 PM if their shift starts at 6:45 AM, and up to 9:15 PM for 12-hour staff if cases run late.
