Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse Traveler – Vermont

Start Date: November 18, 2026

Location: Northeast Kingdom, Vermont

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 Emergency Department with more than 15,000 patient visits annually. Orientation begins mid-week (Wednesday start); travelers on 48-hour contracts will receive 36 hours during orientation week due to mid-week start.

• Independent, not-for-profit critical access hospital offering comprehensive emergency services

Requirements:

• Current Vermont RN License or Compact Multi-State RN License
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum three years of Emergency Department RN experience
• TNCC certification preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)
• All credentialing documentation must be submitted no later than five business days before start date
• Reliable personal transportation required (public transit and rideshare services not available; closest commercial airport approximately two hours away)
• Travelers responsible for securing own housing accommodations (local resources available)
