Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Albemarle, NC. This role involves working in a 10-bed ICU with an average daily census of 7.3 patients, providing care to adults with various critical conditions such as sepsis, COPD, and stroke. Candidates with a strong background in ICU nursing and the ability to manage high-acuity patients are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage medication drips
• Conduct and document comprehensive assessments and clinical care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management and tracheostomy care

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 18 months to 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Proficiency in critical care nursing, including stroke assessments and cardiac care
