BUYER-Remote

We are currently seeking a dependable, organized, and resourceful Buyer to support our purchasing and day-to-day operational needs. This remote position is ideal for someone who is comfortable sourcing products, comparing prices, coordinating purchases, communicating with vendors, and ensuring employees receive approved supplies and materials on time. The successful candidate will work closely with management and internal teams to complete approved purchases, maintain accurate transaction records, and help keep business operations running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase approved office supplies, equipment, materials, and other business-related items. Compare vendors, pricing, availability, and delivery options before making purchasing recommendations. Place approved orders and track purchases through delivery. Coordinate the distribution of purchased items to employees or departments. Complete authorized business errands and purchasing-related tasks when required. Communicate with vendors regarding orders, pricing, delivery schedules, returns, and discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, invoices, and supplier information. Assist with approved reimbursements, allowances, or operational payments in accordance with company policy. Confirm that purchased items have been received by the appropriate employee or department. Monitor purchasing requests and follow up on outstanding orders. Ensure all purchases remain within approved budgets and spending limits. Report any unusual charges, discrepancies, or purchasing issues to management. Protect confidential company, employee, and financial information. Follow all purchasing, authorization, and expense procedures. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, administrative support, inventory, retail, or a related role preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Good attention to detail and record-keeping ability. Comfortable comparing prices and evaluating vendors. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and web-based platforms. Ability to work independently and follow approval procedures. Strong time-management and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple purchasing requests at the same time. Previous remote work experience is an advantage. Reliable internet access and a suitable remote work environment.
