Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position provides essential nursing care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting, ensuring a high standard of care and support throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in the clinic.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Assess patient health needs, develop nursing plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, health maintenance, and disease management.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or a related field.
• ONS certification preferred; support for obtaining certification will be provided after starting.
• Must be willing to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Open to first-time travelers.
• Must be located within a 50-mile radius.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, day shift position in an outpatient clinic setting, where physicians typically see between 15 and 25 patients per day. There are no weekend requirements, and the role does not require on-call duties.

Additional Information

No time-off restrictions are in place, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and personal commitments.
