School Speech Language Pathologist

School Speech Language Pathologist providing individualized therapy to students in a 36-week contract in Surprise, Arizona. Responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering speech-language interventions to support student communication goals. Works under the organization's high-pay, comprehensive benefits program.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs.
2. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
3. Conduct one-to-one and group therapy sessions.
4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress.
5. Document progress and maintain accurate records.
6. Adapt interventions based on ongoing assessment data.
7. Provide counseling and education to families on communication strategies.
8. Monitor and report on student performance to school administrators.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• College diploma or transcripts.
• Current Arizona Standard Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
• Current Arizona Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Valid driver's license (front and back).
• Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints Fingerprint Clearance Card (front and back).
• Social Security Card.
• 37.5 hours per week schedule.
• Must obtain and maintain required credentialing throughout employment.

Preferred Skills:

• American Hearing and Speech Association Clinical Certification of Competence (preferred)
