About the Position

License: NC Licensure required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, RRT or CRT required Must-Have: - 2 years of combined pediatric unit experience. - Experience with IPPV/NIPPV ventilators. - Candidates must specify if they have ED or ICU level experience and the amount they have. - Experience should be focused on pediatric patient assignments, not mixed age populations. Description: We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU and Pediatrics. This position is dedicated to providing respiratory care for pediatric patients throughout the facility. The facility is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level IV NICU Teaching Hospital. The respiratory therapy team will work with neonate and pediatric age ranges. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple intensive care units. The schedule includes a weekend rotation every other weekend with no call requirements. Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays. The position requires a total of 36 guaranteed hours per week. Candidates can request up to 6 days off excluding holidays. Certain equipment and technology, such as EPIC EMR, will be utilized in this role. Specific equipment details will be discussed during the interview process. All candidates must provide documentation of their qualifications and experience.
