Key Account Specialist, Gastroenterology (New Orleans, LA) - Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine

Key Account Specialist, Gastroenterology (NewOrleans, LA) Drive product access, acceptance, and usage in targeted academic accounts within NewOrleans, Lafayette, and Shreveport, Louisiana. Manage all aspects of IV and subcutaneous product flow to ensure ease of access and fulfillment. Attain sales objectives by presenting complex clinical and business information to gastroenterology healthcare professionals, government agencies, professional and patient groups, health plans, and other decision‑makers. Responsibilities Develop and evaluate strategies to build relationships with Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders at assigned institutions. Execute local marketing strategies, leveraging resources and collaborating with company team members to enhance business results. Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision‑makers to influence adoption of the company’s immunology products. Use discretion and judgment to implement franchise and brand strategy within the assigned customer segment, including specialty medical practices, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacists. Influence decision‑makers to support product use in relevant disease states through clinical expertise and effective selling skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience with at least 1 year of specialty sales experience. Valid driver’s license issued in one of the United States. Willingness to travel, including weekends and overnight stays. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations. Experience managing complex reimbursement issues and working in immunology or gastroenterology.
