Therapeutic Recreation – After‑school program using movement, recreation, art, and CBT‑based activities to build resilience and confidence. Our Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) play a critical role in our Therapeutic Recreation Program, supporting youth and young adults navigating at-risk behaviors in an after-school setting. BHTs provide mentorship, guidance, and care through trauma-informed approaches and cognitive behavior therapy, utilizing sports and activities as therapeutic tools. The role involves working closely with the clinical team to implement individualized treatment plans and ensure the safety and well-being of our clients. What You'll Do

• Supervise and ensure safety
• Facilitate groups, activities, and skill‑building sessions
• Support treatment goals and behavior plans
• Assist with documentation and case coordination
• Provide crisis intervention when needed
• Support academics (CHOICE)
• Participate in recreation and movement‑based activities (Therapeutic Rec)
• Collaborate with clinical and program teams

What You Bring

• Experience with at‑risk youth or behavioral health populations
• Strong communication & documentation skills
• Ability to manage group dynamics
• Comfort with structured environments
• Willingness to learn crisis intervention Minimum Qualifications

• Meet state licensing requirements for BHTs/Para Professionals
• 21+ years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid AZ Driver's License & insurable driving record
• Must be able to obtain an AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Unrestricted)
