Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and current Massachusetts Physical Therapy License is required
• Previous experience delivering PT services in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of IEP processes, assessments, and goal setting
• Skilled in providing therapy for diverse students, including those with varying physical and developmental needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and related service providers
• Ability to manage documentation and maintain confidentiality in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students needing gross motor and movement support
• Facilitate therapy sessionsindividual or groupto address mobility, balance, and physical function
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
• Document services, progress reports, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on PT strategies and recommendations
• Contribute expertise to develop accessible, inclusive learning environments
