Clinical Documentation Specialist

The Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) is responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation. Responsibilities CDIS facilitates modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians and other clinicians to ensure that documentation reflects complete a accurate level of service rendered to patients. Requirements Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Experience: A minimum of 3 years' acute care nursing experience required. ICU experience preferred. Minimum 2 years' CDIS in acute care hospital. Epic and 3M 360 Experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams. Must be able to troubleshoot remote computer connectivity issues. Licensure, Registration or Certification: Registered Nurse required. CDIS certification through ACDIS or AHIMA required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
