The Difference You Make As a Part-Time Bank Teller, you engage in assisting with various financial needs and processing transactions. You provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and elevate issues for timely resolution. Welcome customers and deliver an exceptional banking experience from the moment they arrive. Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions accurately and efficiently. Build relationships by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant banking products and services. Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options. Resolve routine account inquiries and elevate complex issues as needed. Handle cash transactions while maintaining accurate drawer balances. Follow compliance, security, and fraud prevention procedures to minimize risk. Support branch operations, including audits, custodianship, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Provide support to nearby branch locations as business needs require. What You Bring To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education High school diploma, GED: or equivalent work experience - Required Qualifications 6+ Months Cash Handling experience - Required. 6+ Months Demonstrated customer service experience - Required. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others. Ability to identify and elevate concerns of risk to appropriate channels. Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures. Effective listening and communication skills. Comfortable in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement. Energetic, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment. Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail. Computer proficiency and basic math skills. Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings. It Would Be Nice For You To Have Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education. Preferred experience in Microsoft Office products. What Else You Need To Know The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
