POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HR Generalist serves as a key partner to the Dixon facility, supporting day-to-day human resources operations and ensuring alignment with company policies, practices, and strategic objectives. Reporting to the HR Manager – West Region, this role provides comprehensive HR support including teammate relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration.

The HR Generalist acts as a resource for teammates and supervisors, promoting a positive work environment, ensuring consistent application of policies, and supporting workforce planning and development initiatives. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while driving HR programs that enhance teammate engagement and operational effectiveness.

• Salary range: $70,000–$80,000
• On-site position
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a point of contact for teammates and supervisors
• Administer and support full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding)
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth teammate experience
• Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices
• Manage teammate relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
• Maintain and update teammate records, HRIS data, and personnel files
• Assist with performance management processes, including reviews and coaching support
• Coordinate and support training and development initiatives

• Administer teammate benefits programs and assist with open enrollment
• Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate and timely data submission
• Monitor attendance, leaves of absence, and accommodation (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
• Analyze HR metrics and provide reporting to support decision-making
• Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational changes
• Promote teammate engagement initiatives and a positive workplace culture
• Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and documentation
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of employment/labor laws.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations payroll, HRIS and talent management system (ADPWFN).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• BS/BA degree in Business Administration or relevant field (Preferred).
• 5+ years of proven experience as an HR Generalist.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position will be in an office setting at a desk equipped with computer, monitors, phone, and other applicable resources/equipment. It will require the applicant to routinely sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend for up to 8 hours. Position requires the occasional lifting of objects up to 25lbs.
