We help customers “do more with less.” Summary of Responsibility As a CNC Tooling Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for being an important support function in the capital equipment sales process by providing technical information required to improve productivity of machine tool users. Working with various internal departments to provide accountability and follow-up for our customers. What You Will Contribute Developing and maintaining customer relationships to ensure all needs are met from pre-sales to project completion by actively reviewing processes and reporting through Salesforce Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and the product lines represented by our company Supporting a broad range of tooling and machine accessory projects within a sales territory and establishing yourself as the central knowledge base for the associated machine accessories, work holding, and tool holding products Developing solutions for process optimization and managing related projects from concept to completion Participating in continuous education meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with new products, processes and technologies Cultivating a sales territory to generate revenue when not supporting capital machine projects Being responsive to customers and capital sales account managers in resolving issues promptly and professionally Maintaining a high degree of integrity and professionalism that safeguards the trust and confidence of customers, and colleagues. Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas. Strong hand‑eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work. Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
