Sr. Product Manager- Upstream

About the Opportunity We're looking for a strategic product leader who enjoys identifying unmet clinical needs and transforming customer insights into innovative diagnostic solutions. As a member of the Upstream Marketing team, you'll influence product strategy long before commercialization begins. Working alongside R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, and Commercial teams, you'll help define the next generation of diagnostic products—from concept through launch readiness. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing science, customer needs, competitive intelligence, and business strategy while helping shape the future of diagnostic testing. What You'll Do Develop long-term product and portfolio strategies that align with business objectives. Evaluate emerging technologies, clinical trends, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities. Build business cases supporting new product investments and portfolio expansion. Be the Voice of the Customer Gather insights from laboratories, clinicians, health systems, and key opinion leaders. Translate customer feedback into product requirements and market-driven development priorities. Identify workflow challenges and unmet clinical needs that create opportunities for innovation. Lead Cross-Functional Product Development Partner closely with R&D to guide product definition throughout development. Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure products are positioned for successful commercialization. Influence product design decisions while balancing customer expectations, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and financial objectives. Prepare Products for Market Support commercialization planning for new product introductions. Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions. Work with regional marketing and commercial teams to ensure successful launch execution. Manage the Product Lifecycle Monitor product performance, market adoption, and customer feedback. Recommend enhancements, line extensions, or lifecycle investments based on market trends. Analyze business performance and develop strategies to maximize long-term portfolio growth. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline 5+ years of product management, upstream marketing, or strategic marketing experience within Diagnostics, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Biotechnology Experience partnering with technical and commercial teams throughout product development Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Experience leading initiatives across cross-functional organizations Preferred MBA or advanced scientific degree Experience with molecular diagnostics, infectious disease, oncology, women's health, or laboratory diagnostics Familiarity with IVD product development and commercialization Experience conducting market research, voice-of-customer activities, and competitive analysis Knowledge of regulated healthcare or medical technology environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Bridgeway Partners, Inc.
