Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to support our Radiation Oncology department. This position involves a 5 x 8 hours schedule from Monday through Friday. The start time will be between 0700 and 0800. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology. Responsibilities include properly setting up and aligning patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed. You will assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to various healthcare team members. Preparation for treatment delivery includes chart and film checks, room setup, calculations, electronic medical record checks, and treatment calendar management. You will perform patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed. Collaboration with other radiation therapists and team members is essential to complete additional tasks as required. BLS certification is necessary for this position. Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ is preferred. Holiday coverage will be required.
