Position Summary The role is an experienced Civil Engineer position reporting directly to a Project Manager. The candidate will support the efforts of the Project Manager in team supervision and execution of various civil engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Site Engineering Design associated with buildings and parking Street improvement design Pavement rehabilitation Rough and precise grading plans Storm design and drainage calculations Potable and reclaimed waterlines design Sewer pipe design Flood control improvements Freeway and interchange improvements Specifications Utility coordination Permit processing Responsible for some elements of proposals Function as an assistant project manager Qualifications Strong proficiency in MicroStation InRoads is required; experience with MicroStation InRoads is a mandatory requirement. Team leadership Client interactions Preferred knowledge of public works and DoD agency processes Additional software skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to prepare engineering reports with the guidance of a project manager or senior individual. Education & Experience A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college (ABET) is required. Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience. EIT License (in California), preferred. Experience working with DoD agencies like the Navy will be considered a plus.
