Job Overview Float Phlebotomist position within Labcorp. Compensation and Incentives Pay Range: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour. Float Incentive: Additional $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. *QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM: PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, hours vary between 7:00am to 7:00pm, rotating weekends. Work Location Seattle to Issaquah and various locations between both regions. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD 401(k) with company match Accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year Tuition Reimbursement Employee Stock Purchase Plan Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Job Requirements Must have a valid Washington-issued Phlebotomy License or an application for a Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire. Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred. Must have a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record. Must be at least 21 years old. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
