Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Farmington, CT
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that guarantees weekly home time with minimal physical demands? Join American Trucking Group and take advantage of our dry van routes throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. We offer exceptional equipment and competitive compensation, allowing you to experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a steady schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes ensure you receive consistent miles while allowing you to spend quality time with family and manage personal obligations.
Equipment: Drive late-model trucks like International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, outfitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for effective heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, given there is safe parking.
No Touch Freight: Most of our freight involves dry van transportation with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work and allowing you to focus on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles: Drivers earn an average of $1,200 to $1,600 weekly, based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policies, layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area: Routes cover Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment. We also offer $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
