Corporate Associate - Emerging Company and Venture Capital

Job Overview A law firm seeks a midlevel Corporate Associate to join its team in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will work with a seasoned litigation team, focusing on commercial litigation, product liability, securities, trade secret, and bankruptcy matters, while also engaging with clients in the energy, aerospace, automobile, and life science industries. Duties Assist in corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions. Advise on corporate finance and securities issues. Collaborate with clients in emerging company and venture capital sectors. Draft and review legal documents with precision and clarity. Requirements 2 to 5 years of corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting. Emerging company and venture capital experience preferred. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Admitted to and in good standing with the Illinois bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Skills Proficiency in corporate finance and general corporate matters. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.
