Wealth Management Consultant – Houston, TX Responsibilities You’ll lead sales initiatives in the Wirehouse Channel segment by identifying firm and firm representative needs and coordinating efforts to meet those needs. You’ll manage American Funds Distribution presence, relationships, and business results with key Wirehouse firms. Deliver motivational and informative presentations, set goals, and measure performance against them. Qualifications Proven track record in third‑party distribution with broad knowledge of mutual fund, SMA, ETF, and CIT businesses and sales cultures; strong long‑term relationship building. Deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction. Proficiency leveraging technologies for custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.). Ability to synthesize information and present it in a distilled manner. Hold one or more of Series 7, 66, and/or CIMA and CFA designations. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $75,000 + applicable sales commissions and bonuses.
