About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Glen Burnie, Maryland, 21061!
Job Title: IMC RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: IMC Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong IMC/ICU level experience due to high acuity unit. License: Active state RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Description: IMC RN position available for night shifts. 36 hours per week with every other weekend required. Floating is required within the specialty and lower acuity as needed. Patient ratio is 1:3 on the unit. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census is 18 with 24 beds available. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various teams. Common patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, CHF, multi-system organ failure, and post-cardiac catheterization among others. Special procedures include chest tube insertions, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions. Travel experience is required. Strong management skills for complex patient care are essential. Skills expected include managing ports, arterial lines, and care of ventilated patients. Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is necessary. Professional development and compliance with onboarding procedures are expected. About Cynet Health
