About the Role:

As a Resident Transporter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to transport residents to and from various activities, appointments, and facilities within our center. You will work closely with our nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport residents to and from various activities, appointments, and facilities within our center

• Provide physical assistance and emotional support to residents as needed

• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff

• Assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning residents

• Maintain a clean and organized transportation area

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and assist with resident transfers

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail

• Compassionate and caring attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
