Accountant II

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a qualified individual for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in Hollywood, Florida. This position is fully on-site and involves performing moderately complex accounting and financial-management functions. The successful candidate will operate with minimal supervision and independently analyze financial data to support management decision-making and financial reporting. Responsibilities: Prepare financial reports and assist with budget analysis Support grant reporting and related compliance requirements Perform debt-compliance reviews and account reconciliations Assist with internal audits and cash-management activities Maintain and reconcile fixed-asset records Apply governmental fund-accounting principles Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards Maintain accurate financial records using automated accounting systems Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of three years of Staff Accountant or related accounting experience Governmental accounting or auditing experience required Fixed-asset accounting experience required Knowledge of governmental GAAP and GASB 34 reporting requirements CPA preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays Additional Requirements: Must be comfortable working fully on-site in Hollywood Must pass a national background check and 10-panel drug screening Candidates seeking compensation above $80,000 cannot be considered WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a qualified individual for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in Hollywood, Florida.
