Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse!

Job Description:

- Shift: Days 7a-7p
- Must NOT be a previous employee of the facility
- Local Travelers will receive a $10/hr lower local rate
- Candidates with hits/actions on License/Background will not be accepted
- Must be willing and able to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed
- At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department setting

Responsibilities:

- Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process
- Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay
- Administer IV medications/therapy/blood as needed
- Provide patient education
- Document nursing care actions, teachings, observations, and patient responses
- Work in a full spectrum of emergency care and a separate Chest Pain Center

Requirements:

- 1+ year previous experience required
- At least 1 year previous critical care nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered

Additional Information:

- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
- Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
- Position Urgency: Normal
- Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 91
