Petroleum Technician

Pay: $25/hr

We are seeking an Apprentice Service Technician to learn how to repair and service gas pumping equipment and electronics. Work Environment:

• Monday-Friday schedule
• Start between 7:00-8:00 AM and finish between 3:00-4:00 PM
• Expect 5-10 hours of overtime per week
• Shared on-call rotation for some nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills and experience you will gain:

• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose issues
• Order the correct parts needed for repairs
• Manage your company service van and inventory
• Repair and service pumps, tanks, monitors, gauges, meter readouts, and other petroleum industry equipment

Qualifications:

• Mechanical and electronic aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and ability to explain repairs to customers
• Ability to read work orders and complete paperwork accurately
• Willingness to learn and maintain certifications
• Valid driving record

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr. Military friendly, pay scale increase yearly, family owned/operated

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis, MN.
