Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Snellville, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation. Patient ratio of 1:2-3 in an 11-bed emergency department with an average daily census of 36 patients. Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract.

Highlights:

• Work in a freestanding emergency department serving a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Treat a wide range of conditions including lacerations, abdominal pain, pediatric complaints, mental health evaluations, stroke alerts, and cardiac arrest
• Use Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Floating may be required within facility and scope of practice; no call requirements

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale; EBRR certification completed during orientation week
• Preferred skills: CPI, NRP, TNCC, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, triage experience, and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with adult and pediatric emergency care in both trauma and non-trauma settings
• Full compliance with facility requirements must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date to ensure timely orientation
