Substitute School Nurse

The following position is available for the 2025-2026 school year as noted below: POSITION SUBSTITUTE SCHOOLNURSE AVAILABILITY Immediate QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse Licensure, Illinois CPA/AED Certification Knowledge of pediatric and adult nursing procedures Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Demonstrated aptitude as a self-starter who works with minimal supervision Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills Effective communication, human relations, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Strong orientation toward providing customer service Strong work ethic Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Substitutes serve the District in the same capacity as a school nurse during their absence.
