Elite Construction is seeking a Lead Residential/ Commercial Journeyman Electrician to assist with our many commercial/residential projects in the Valdosta/ Thomasville/ Tifton area.We are seeking a reliable Residential Electrician to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems in residential settings. Hard working and dependable need only apply!!Must be able to work on-call when needed.Must be able to work some weekendsLEAD Commercial/ Industrial ElectricianWe are looking for a team player.Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems and components, including wiring, fixtures, and panels. Identify electrical problems using various testing devices and diagnostic tools. Ensure all work meets local and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals to complete projects accurately. Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining work performed to homeowners. Manage a company vehicle and maintain inventory of tools and materials (if applicable).Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.Trouble-shoot all electric systemsPrepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codesDirect and train electricians to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixturesPlace and bend conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.Comprehend, read, and blue prints, specifications, work site directionsPractice and comprehend safe work procedures.Run a commercial job siteHave knowledge of job site safetyKeep track of any work requested or completed beyond scope/contract and reporting it to supervisor before any extra work is performedMust have a clean driving record and valid licenseINSTALLING NEW WIRING VIA MC CABLE OR CONDUITINSTALLING RECEPTACLES, LIGHTING SYSTEMS AND FIXTURESStrong communication skills and neat appearanceMust be able to run a jobsite and a crew with no assistants.Must not have a DUI in the last 5 yearsMust have a valid Driver's LicenseMust have reliable transportationPHYSICAL DEMANDS· Repetitive motion of shoulders, arm, hands, wrists, and fingers.· Lifting and maneuvering heavy objects up to 50lbs.· Standing for long periods of time without sitting.· Exposed repetitive walking, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling squatting, climbing, kneeling, reaching over the head and twisting.OSHA experienceCORE COMPETENCIES· Leadership· Teamwork· Effective Communication· Problem Solving· Time Management· Prioritization· Planning· Organization· Self-driven· InitiativeFull Time PositionJob Type: Full-timeMonday thru Friday10 to 12 hours days with some weekend work.MUST BE DRUG FREE!Pay will be depending on your experience.$21.00-$26.00Must have a driver license.
