Associate Attorney - Remote

Growing National Law firm has a remote opening for a Associate level Attorney in New Mexico. You can live anywhere in New Mexico as it is a remote position with a full benefits package Purpose:The Associate Attorney will manage cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters and protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings and general collection cases.Specific Duties & Responsibilities:Manage cases from inception to completionPrepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategiesDraft court pleadings, defense of motionsAttend court hearings, both telephonic and in personOther duties and special projects as neededJob Requirements:Bachelor's DegreeJuris Doctor from accredited law school1-2 years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage lawAdmission to practice law in the state of New MexicoMust have excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenMust have the ability to interpret client systemsMust be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the InternetAbility to manage and prioritize large caseloadsJ-18808-Ljbffr
