Salary Range: $121,935.54 - $156,140.92 annually

This range represents the expected annual salary for this role if employed in New Jersey. The final compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
Job OverviewWe are looking for a committed Assistant Director of Patient Care to join our Cardio Thoracic ICU/Cardiovascular ICU Department at the New Brunswick campus.
QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in ICU nursing is essential
Preferred:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is highly desirable
- Previous leadership experience is advantageous
- Experience with patients undergoing Cardiac and Vascular Surgery is preferred
- CCRN certification is a plus
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Active Registered Nurse License in New Jersey is necessary
- Day shift, 40 hours per week
- Full-time position
- On-call leadership coverage is required
- Provide leadership and guidance to achieve the unit's and organization's goals.
- Communicate effectively with staff, manage resources, and oversee services.
- Assist the Director in daily unit operations and delegated tasks.
- Responsible for 50% of patient care duties.
- Collaboratively develop and maintain staff schedules and payroll.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accountability among staff.
