Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Assess, plan, and implement patient care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency treatments and monitor patient vitals accurately.
• Respond swiftly to urgent situations, providing critical interventions as needed.
• Document patient observations and care activities thoroughly and promptly.
• Float within departments as required, maintaining flexibility and coverage.
• Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care procedures and updates.

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State RN license or current application in progress.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute trauma or emergency nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Comfortable with floating to medical-surgical units and managing diverse patient needs.
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making skills.
