Job Description & Requirements Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Bethesda, Maryland. This role involves providing care in a hospital's interventional radiology unit, performing minimally invasive image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across various medical conditions. The RN will support the team with patients requiring moderate sedation, ensuring safety and optimal health outcomes. Job Details Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a rotating day off. Schedule: M-F, with no set schedule or block scheduling; includes a week of call every four weeks. Daily call from 5:30 pm to 7:00 am next day; weekend calls available. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, moderate sedation experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), a minimum of two years of registered nurse experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and current interventional radiology experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC Radiant system, Critical Care Certification, trauma course. Additional Information: The unit performs image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients with conditions such as cancer, pain, diabetes, liver, and kidney issues. Candidates must note any prior employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facilities on their application, including the details in the work history, to verify rehire status. Past employment as staff, PRN, or travel within these facilities requires a full year of absence before reapplication as a traveler.
