Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to provide information and services to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to learn and follow detailed instructions, utilize various resources, and maintain excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate information is provided to customers. This position requires availability during specific hours and the ability to work with complex computer applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Handle inquiries regarding complex and/or important products, services, and promotions.
• Receive and place telephone calls that may require deviation from standard procedures.
• Collaborate with sales and technical staff to stay informed about customer needs.
• Promote and sell products/services, and enter or confirm sales as needed.
• Navigate a computerized data entry system and other relevant applications.
• Document customer needs in databases and ensure appropriate actions and follow-through.
• Demonstrate patience, tact, empathy, and problem-solving skills with consistently good voice quality.
• Organize and manage calls with speed and accuracy.

Education Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education or certifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Proficiency in using PC software products such as Lotus Notes, Excel, and MS Word.
• Ability to work with multiple operating environments (Windows, DOS, Mainframe).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle calls efficiently.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed instructions and processes.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to empathize with customers.

Payrange: $30/hr to $36/hr
