Specialty: Radiation Therapist
Experience: 1+ year in a clinical radiation oncology setting preferred
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: ARRT (T) certification and BLS required
Must-Have: Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Duties include setting up and operating radiation equipment, verifying patient identity and treatment parameters, monitoring patients during treatment, and maintaining accurate treatment records. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards throughout therapy.
