Looking for a civil construction professional who wants stability (strong backlog over 5-6 years), and is looking for a career path to senior leadership locally. What You'll DoManage multiple civil and transportation construction projects from planning through completionServe as a primary point of contact with DOT representatives, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadershipManage project schedules, budgets, costs, production, change orders, documentation, and overall project performanceCoordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project resourcesProvide leadership and oversight to project and field staff, including Assistant Project Managers and other project-management personnelWork closely with field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specificationIdentify project risks and solve problems proactively before they impact schedule, cost, safety, or qualityUtilize project management technology and reporting tools to maintain accurate, real-time visibility into project performanceWhat We're Looking ForApproximately 5–15 years of civil construction experienceSome DOT experienceBackground in any civil infrastructure to be consideredStrong understanding of project costs, scheduling, production, contracts, and field operationsComfortable utilizing technology, project management systems, spreadsheets, and construction reporting toolsStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsA safety-first mindset and the judgment to make decisions that protect employees, the traveling public, the client, and the companyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving construction environmentMust be willing to be physically based in the Raleigh, NC areaThe Opportunity:This role will have immediate responsibility for overseeing multiple active projects, with project and field personnel reporting through the position.
