Job Summary

The role involves monitoring heartbeat patterns using electrocardiograph (EKG) devices to identify any irregular heart rhythms. You will assist physicians in urgent situations related to heart conditions. Responsibilities include:

Observing EKG monitors to detect abnormal heart rhythm variations
Recognizing emergencies and promptly notifying physicians for immediate intervention
Recording the heart's electrical activity with EKG equipment and ensuring the quality of the data
Managing inventory by ordering and stocking necessary supplies
Generating EKG reports that detail patients' cardiovascular health for physician review and diagnosis

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
Certification as a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring certification (CRAT), or National Telemetry Certification is preferred but not essential.
Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is advantageous.
