Overview

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Procurement Buyer II.

 

Type: Contract
Job Title: Procurement Buyer II
Location: Wilmington, NC
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Technical field, or equivalent experience

 

Description

Procurement Buyer II responsible for inventory purchasing, procurement, replenishment, supplier management, purchase orders, and production support .

 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory, or Planning experience.
• Manage inventory levels, ROP/Max, replenishment, special buys, POs, order confirmations, and expedites.
• Experience with SAP and/or PeopleSoft .
• Strong Microsoft Excel, data analysis, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Resolve supplier, invoice, PO, inventory, and accounting issues.
• Strong communication and vendor management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a production environment.
• Self-starter with strong teamwork, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes preferred.
• Must be available to work onsite in Wilmington, NC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience.
• SAP and/or PeopleSoft experience.
• Excel and analytical skills.
• Procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier management experience.
