1st Shift Inventory Clerk

#INDGA The Bookstore Clerk provides outstanding customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while supporting the daily operations. This position assists with sales transactions, merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance. Operate the cash register and accurately process purchases, returns, and exchanges. Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and provide information about bookstore products and services. Receive, stock, and organize textbooks, school supplies, apparel, and merchandise. Maintain attractive product displays and ensure shelves remain fully stocked. Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and special orders. Perform opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers and reconciling daily sales. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized bookstore environment. Support special campus events, textbook buyback periods, and peak registration times. Assist with training student workers as assigned. Perform other related duties as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
