Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Thursday – Sunday | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Sanitation Technicians to join a leading food manufacturing facility in Kings Mountain, NC. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and manufacturing areas according to established sanitation procedures
Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for deep cleaning when required
Properly mix, handle, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines
Remove waste, debris, and excess materials throughout the facility
Complete sanitation logs, cleaning records, and required documentation accurately
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and PPE requirements
Inspect work areas to ensure production lines are clean and ready for the next shift
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Report equipment or sanitation concerns to supervisors promptly
Perform additional sanitation and facility support duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Ability to work the overnight schedule (Thursday–Sunday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Ability to work in a wet, fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Ability to follow sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and food manufacturing regulations

Preferred Qualifications

Previous sanitation, janitorial, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
Experience working in a food manufacturing or food processing environment
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards
Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and sanitation chemicals
