Candidates will have the chance to handle the day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of their cases, from initial client consultation and strategy to trial and post-judgment work. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney working specifically within family law. Minimum Job Qualifications: Currently licensed to practice law in Colorado. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Family Law. Extensive experience in all areas of family law, including: Divorce and legal separation Allocation of parental responsibilities (custody) Child support and spousal maintenance Marital agreements (prenuptial/postnuptial) Domestic violence and protection orders Knowledge of Colorado family law statutes, case law, and local court rules. Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision. Exceptional negotiation and litigation skills, including experience with hearings and trials. Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills. A high degree of initiative and mature judgment. First chair trial experience in family law cases preferred.
