Overview Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician for a 14‑week temporary full‑time assignment in the clinical laboratory. Key Details Location: Suffolk, VA Position Type: Temporary Full Time, 14‑week assignment Shift: Day (Hours: 4:00 am–12:30 pm, Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends & holidays) Compensation: $48.00 /hr for MLS/MT and $45.00 /hr for MLT Certification required: ASCP or AMT May be trained to float to Sentara BelleHarbour (freestanding emergency department) Responsibilities Performs laboratory tests; interprets results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools.
