Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10s (6:30–17:00) or 5x8s (6:30–15:00) schedules available based on traveler preference; call and late days as required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting across service lines including Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for craniotomy and burr hole procedures — experience in these procedures is required
• Participate in call and late days as required by the facility schedule
• Complete facility orientation modules during the onboarding period
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation; Altera charting system experience is a plus

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room service line
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required
• Must pass a facility-administered drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — CBD products should also be avoided prior to and during assignment
• Must live more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals not accepted)
• Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place within that timeframe

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Altera charting system preferred
• Familiarity with robotics-assisted surgical procedures a plus
