Retail Lead Associate (Reduced-Time), Customer Experience Operations

Job Overview Pay starts at $18.05 per hour with benefits available. Compensation & Hours Average work: 30‑39 hours per week. Open availability: Tuesday – Saturday, 2:45 pm – 9:15 pm. Role Summary As a Retail Lead Associate, you are the face of Amazon and help create a culture built on customer obsession, trust, respect, integrity, continuous learning, and fun. You possess strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize quickly, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delighting customers. You assist with customer service operations and floor leader responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Interact with customers by using engagement strategies and model desired behavior for the team. Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product. Provide peer‑to‑peer feedback on processes and standards, and serve as an escalation point for assist associate peers in resolving customer issues, where appropriate. Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience and operations by developing best practices. Identify and communicate barriers and trends that affect customer and associate experience and support the manager in building a strong site culture. Work with a manager to maintain the physical safety and quality standards of the site. Adapt to a fast‑changing and ambiguous environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Lift up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and continuously climb and descend stairs. About the Team Customer Experience Operations (CXO) is an Amazon organization specializing in delighting customers with quality service in an ever‑changing environment. We operate out of designated retail locations to facilitate the delivery and return of customer orders. Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma. 18 years of age or older. 1+ year of retail or customer‑facing experience, or 1+ year of floor‑leader or other leadership experience, or 1+ year of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in training others. The starting pay for this position includes the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
